«SMILE» is a series of illustrated short poems in which I capture fleeting moments, special encounters, and emotional states. In doing so, they preserve what diaries are meant to preserve: memories and moments that should not be lost.
The works combine text and illustration. Vibrantly coloured and printed on soft velvet, they create a sense of intimacy and invite the viewer to come closer, pause, and linger in the moment.They offer space for recognition, connection, and reflection – and, at best, put a SMILE on the faces of passing strangers.
«SMILE» is an invitation to pay greater attention to our emotions and to the seemingly ordinary moments of everyday life.
